The Sustainability Passport complements the natureplus eco-label with a standardized, third-party verified verification document. It bundles all relevant sustainability information of a certified building product and aligns it with the requirements of leading building labels and systems.
The Sustainability Passport thus replaces numerous individual proofs, simplifies planning, reduces research effort, and increases verification reliability.

The Sustainability Passport is based on the natureplus eco-label. The Type 1 label (according to EN 14024) is recognized throughout Europe and is awarded to building products by the non-profit environmental association natureplus e.V. It stands for strictly and comprehensively tested sustainability (climate protection, healthy living, and resource conservation). The independent natureplus Institute SCE tests according to scientific methods and standards.
