The natureplus eco-label is the most comprehensive and demanding Type 1 label (according to EN 14024) for building products in Europe. It is based on international standards and meets the criteria of numerous European building certification systems. Furthermore, it is recognized in many municipal and state funding programs in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

The Sustainability Passport: Simplified Verification
The Sustainability Passport complements the natureplus eco-label with a central, standardized, and third-party verified proof document. It bundles all relevant sustainability information for a certified building product and compares it with leading building labels and systems. This means the Sustainability Passport replaces numerous individual proofs.
It facilitates planning for all construction professionals, significantly reduces research effort, and increases proof reliability.
Recognized in Numerous Funding Programs
Many cities and municipalities support ecological and sustainable construction and renovation through special funding programs. Building products bearing the natureplus certificate are recognized in numerous municipal funding programs, particularly in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

The natureplus Eco-label:
QNG-Compliant
natureplus certified building products meet the requirements of the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG). This makes them a suitable choice for the construction of buildings aiming to receive the QNG seal and thus obtain the coveted building funding from the Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG).
QNG compliance is based on Annex 3.1.3. (version 1.3 in the corrected version of 14.09.2023 or older) for pollutant avoidance in the QNG requirements catalog. Products with boron compounds exceeding 0.1 mg are excluded.

Important Note: Building products themselves do not receive a QNG seal. The QNG seal is awarded exclusively for completed buildings. A natureplus certification is generally not a prerequisite for QNG building certification. Further proof may be necessary.
